You will be responsible for selling stand space on an established major consumer exhibition aimed at the beauty industry. We are launching a new beauty consumer title and there will be opportunities to sell display advertising into this magazine.
•Selling exhibition space and display advertising to some of the best brands over the telephone and face to face but with a large focus on telesales
•Researching and conducting sales campaigns to attract new business
•Following up campaigns via telephone and email
•Attend and actively engage target companies at exhibitions
•Build relationships and contacts with new accounts and create new revenue opportunities from untapped sectors
•Proactively lead source
•You should have at least one year’s experience in media sales and used to making high volume outbound sales calls
•You must respond well under pressure, show high levels of confidence and be customer focused
•organisational & time management skills are essential.
•Professional and persuasive telephone manner
•Outstanding communication skills – especially listening and conversation skills

An account handling position specifically (Account Executive, Consumer/Lifestyle Public Relations) has been created to facilitate the continued efficient and profitable handling of a growing and increasingly more sophisticated and demanding PR client base.
Through my clients continued success and growth, so does the need for an, experienced, commercially aware, efficient, team member who can work within the PR team and communicate selectively and efficiently with the Senior Account Manager, Managing and Financial Directors and be able to personally identify, analyse and resolve issues.
Candidates will demonstrate ideally three to four years’ experience in trade, consumer and digital PR and have impeccable references.
Job Title: Account Executive (Consumer/Lifestyle Public Relations)
To service, maintain and grow a list of personal PR Accounts.
To work within the PR team on a day-to-day basis creating and executing PR strategies.
To provide reports as required to senior company members on all aspects of the PR output.
To attend, as required, meetings both in and out of the office to meet client and company expectations.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
To at all times, remain professional both in and out of the office whilst representing Company/Clients.
To maintain a positive pro-active team dynamic, leading to a calm and efficient delivery at all times of our company’s great client service.
To provide support and back-up to other team members, identifying and dealing with any day to day issues that may arise and reporting outcomes to senior management.

Hours typically Monday to Friday 0900 to 1730
Holidays 28 (BH inclusive)
Regular ongoing training facilitated both external/internal

Responsibilities & Pay
Assist in preparation and distribution of management reports, support month end process and other ad hoc duties as required by the finance function
Experience & Knowledge
Working within a finance/accounts function
Using an accounting package (ideally Sage or similar)
Previous accounts assistant experience is preferred for this role - within a high volume transactional retail business would prove beneficial
AAT qualified min level 3
Good working knowledge of Excel- including use of pivot tables
Knowledge of basic book-keeping/double entry
GSCE Maths and English Grade C or above
Prepare management reports:
OS POs & Back Orders
Bank & Cash book
Weekly stock report
KPIs for Management Meeting
Daily and monthly cash reconciliations including supporting month-end cash reconciliation process through the preparation of data & transactions
Set up cashbook payments for weekly supplier payment runs
Prepare ad hoc cash book and company credit card payment in accounting system
Month end journals including but not limited to:
Others as required
Prepare five balance sheet reconciliations:
Underpayments – this is just a journal to clear down the small account balance every month

Unused Credit Notes
Issue retro and marketing invoices for Category Managers
Ad hoc reporting & analysis for Financial & Management Accountants or CFO
Back fill for Accounts Payable Exec
Support Intrastat (Int’l VAT) process
Process supplier rebates
Manage petty cash
Filing – contracts, journals, invoices etc
Answering the phone for the finance team in the absence of Receptionist/administrator
